I mailed mine in probably 2 weeks ago or so. How long does it take to get deposited?

I've gotten mine before really quickly, usually within 2 weeks. I filed online though and use direct deposit. I think mailing it in takes a bit longer since people may actually have to sort it out?
[Q]

From Where's My Refund:
"You can generally get information about your refund 72 hours after IRS acknowledges receipt of your e-filed return, or three to four weeks after mailing a paper return."

You got 9Gs and you're buying $900 camera, you need to learn how to splurge and go beyond the 10% mark. Suggested shopping date with Dave.

Finally turned in my taxes yesterday...direct deposits can't come soon enough...I'm gonna get a new car fiiiiiiiiiiiinallllllllyyyyy

What does everyone think about the Subaru 2.5i hatchback?? That is what I really want. I'm trying to find one lightly used but the hatchback version is difficult to find. People hold onto it...but damn if I wanted a sedan I could do that in five seconds.

You'll be paying extra for Subaru's AWD that you might not really need in a southern climate. Definitely nice cars though. Are you sure you need two hatchbacks between you and Albert? I know once Penny got hers, I pretty much decided my next car would be more fun, less practical.

I have no need for a sports car and a sedan seems pointless when you could just get a hatchback. I think the AWD would satisfy the fun requirement too...I know the expensiveness of repairing AWD is the most annoying part.
[Q]

I've really struggled to find a car I want to buy, this one seemed to fit the most. And I don't even find it atrocious to look at. I actually really love the way the Mazda CX7 looks but I can't justify 19 mpg city.
[Q]

Any other suggestions?? I looked at the Nissan Versa but decided it just wasn't a long term car. 3 years ago it would have fit me but now I know I will want something bigger in a few more years. The Mini... (in addition to being small) I have been in a few and the road noise is way too much to keep me sane. My car will always be the road trip car so I need something that is good for that. Carmax is overloaded with hideous Dodges and Pontiacs and that makes wading through the mess even more annoying.

Good points.

Look at the 4dr Golf TDI. Probably will be tough to find one new or used, but it's better fuel economy and nicer inside than the Subie. I love the old Saab 9-2x, which is just a small Subie wagon with Saab badges and a sunroof. I might look at the Ford Fusion Hybrid too. I haven't driven one though.

Used Audi A3 2.0T in that range too.

And to be clear, I love the Subaru, I was just thinking of other options to consider.

Nice idea. They're very nice cars to look at. I don't know who ruined that one with hideous wheels and mesh grill.

I read a lot into "want something bigger in a few more years" so I assumed 4dr.
