All you have to do is make a reservation (reservations are accepted starting May 21st) and you get a free sandwich. Apparently they're coming out with a spicy chicken sandwich.

They are literally required to put 'homophobia' on their chicken sandwich ingredient list.

FYI, this is today! Looks like there's still about 300 free sandwiches remaining at the CNN downtown location.

I think they are just trying to avoid what happened at kfc when they gave out the grilled chicken. They will have so many ready each time slot and will only be giving them to people who signed up. I think they have a better chance of people who will actually return to buy them grtting one, as opposed to people who just get in line for anything free because they have nothing else to do.

Not only that, but this reservation scheme is kind of new, so we'll talk about it on popular web forums.

I had my free spicy chicken sandwich today.
[Q]

I thought it was quite tasty. I appreciated that it is not saucy. It seems to be dry rubbed with the spice before being fried. So it has some good heat, but isn't too overwhelming or at all messy.
[Q]

I will consider purchasing it next time I go to Chick-fil-a.

Interesting. My reservation is for tomorrow.
[Q]

Of the people I've heard say they tried it, one said it was not spicy at all, one said it was way too spicy, and one just said generically they didn't like it at all.
[Q]

Makes me think they're doing A/B testing with their sandwiches. Were you asked to fill out any kind of feedback or anything telling how you liked it?

No survey or anything. I was told by a co-worker who knows someone who works for the company that they had it in testing for like the past 5 years.
[Q]

I think spiciness is a relative thing. I like a little spice, where you can taste it, but it doesn't make your nose drip. I am guessing our friends who generally put hot sauce on EVERYTHING will say that it wasn't spicy.

Just got back from having it. It was alright. I thought the spicyness was well balanced, not too hot, not too spicy.
[Q]

The flavor itself though, I just wasn't too crazy about. It reminds me of those spicy skewers that Dave orders at Chef Liu's that I don't really care for.
[Q]

I might order it again some day, but it doesn't begin to compare to the original chicken sandwich, in my opinion. Hell I thought the double down tasted better.
