They still haven't decided if they're going to build a 2nd stadium or not. The falcons want an open air stadium, but the GWCC wants an enclosed one so they can use it for non football events.

Also the NFL wants seating to stay at around 65,000 so that it sells out and looks full on TV; meanwhile people like Chick-Fil-A want more seating than that, because events like the SEC championship can sell more than 65,000 easily.

Either way, found this rendering of a proposal for the 2nd stadium, that could possibly be located just north of the GWCC.

why does it look like a spaceship? if they want to build a stadium strictly for football, why not just relocate it to gwinett co? no one downtown goes to football games, do they?
