I love his comedy but I tried watching the pilot of his show and I found myself uninterested. Has anyone watched it and if so, does it get better?

I haven't seen it, though I was definitely looking forward to it.
I certainly don't think he was very funny in the episodes of Parks and Recreation he was in. Like, he literally wasn't making any jokes or being funny, he was just being an actor.
