Southwest Airlines opening up a hub at ATL

Previously the closest airport that Southwest flew into was Birmingham. I'm interested to see what this does to the war between Airtran and Delta in terms of luring flyers to their respective companies.

Whoa wait -- Southwest acquired Airtran back in May?! How did I not know that

freakin crazy. So really they're not expanding service to Atlanta, its just that airtran was already here, and now airtran = SW.
